A pretty booklet featuring drawings by Thoreau MacDonald, son of Group of Seven member J. E. H. MacDonald. Being colour blind, Thoreau worked mainly in black and white. It turns out to be the perfect method to capture the history, charm, and occasional bleakness of the "obsolete" small Ontario farm.
