The photographer James Powell opened his studio in Kingston in 1873. A Lillian Hadden/Haddon was born in Kingston in 1879 to a George and Maud Hadden. There is also a record of a Myrtle May Hadden born in 1881 in Kingston who died in 1884 by drowning in a well.
