Document outlines rules for care of guests, hoses and carriages, liquor sales etc. Robert Berrie was a Scotch barrister and a notable figure in the history of the Gore District where he served as the Clerk of the Peace for the Gore District as early as 1832. Gore District was formed in 1816 from parts of York County in the Home District and parts of the Niagara District. The district town was Hamilton. Gore District existed until 1849 when it was replaced by the United Counties of Wentworth and Halton.
