Cruise left Seattle June 23, 1934 on an American Mail Line President Liner. Cruise director was Prof. Henry Landes, possibly the geology professor who became president of the University of Washington and died in Seattle in 1936. Cost for this tour is $693 tourist class. Full itinerary included, including stops at Yokohama, Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara, Beppu, Seoul, Nanking, Soochow, Shanghai, etc. before returning to San Francisco in August.
