"The Canadian Tire Corporation ownership, Management, and staff are Canadians of Anglo-Saxon descent and the vast majority are natives of this city." (Apparently they were accused of being Germans, Italians, or Yankees.) "We now own and operate the largest and finest automotive supply premises on the continent. Built of steel and concrete, entirely fireproof and contains over 100,000 sq. ft. floor space." This address still C.T. to this day. Order blank enclosed at p. 75.
