Charles, 7th Marquess of Londonderry, is best remembered for his tenure as Britain's Secretary of State for Air in the 1930s as well as his praise for Nazi Germany. As a leading member of the Anglo-German Fellowship, he attracted the popular nickname of "Londonderry Herr." Londonderry attempted to explain his position by publishing this book in March of 1938.
