Duke won many medals at U. of T pole-vaulting, rowing, etc. A son of Harry and Elizabeth Duke, nephew of Tom Duke of Barrow Bay. Barrett Studio, a photographic portrait studio, was located at 327 Yonge Street, Toronto, Ontario. From 1901-1907 it was operated by Augustud Barrett; from 1908-1918 it was operated by Sarah Barrett & Frederick D. Peters, and from 1919-1925 it was operated by Frederick D. Peters.
