A social club in Ottawa, originally located near the Parliament Buildings, the Rideau Club has been the meeting place of Canada's politicians and the city of Ottawas social and business elite since its founding in 1865. The original club building shown in this book burned down in October 1979 and the new club rooms are on the top floor of an Ottawa office tower.
