Details: 73 cm sheet. Each map 27x52 cm. Hand coloured. On backerboard, wrapped in mylar. Some stains to edges. Repair to left side margin between maps. Small label crossed out with new pencil page number written in. Completedly restored to museum standards. Cleaned and de-acidified. John Thomson & Co. was one of the leading 19th century British map publishers. The firm published "A New General Atlas of the World" and continued to issue periodic updated maps until 1828.
