Volume 2 only of poetry by Nicolau Tolentino de Almeida (1749-1811). released ten years before the author's death, this volume represents a small selection of the author's work. Tolentino wrote in numerous poetic genres, but was most famous for his satirical poetics and active commentary upon contemporary Portuguese politics.
