Nancy Ekholm Burkert is an American artist and illustrator whose most celebrated work is the picture book Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1972), a New York Times Notable Book and a Caldecott Honor Book. James and the Giant Peach was her first illustration work. This is Dahl's second book after Gremlins.
