Mr. Secretan has many good stories to tell of the pioneer days of the C.P.R., and the book is attractively illustrated from photographs of past and present scenes on the railway. "Racy" tales include murder, a bear hunt, the Northwest Rebellion, a prospector's funeral, etc.
