Company chartered February 17, 1897. These shares were bought by Bloss Parsons Corey (b. ca. 1873 - d. 1927) of Petrolia, Ontario who specialized in the manufacturing and sale of explosives, including nitroglycerin. His company also sold lubricating oils, and had its own brand name, Coreco.
