ECKARDT, A. J. H.
Post-1904 fire advertising: "Our coffins ... are made very roomy at the shoulders, giving a very comfortable appearance all through." "We expect to give you the best possible [embalming] fluids for the least possible money." "We have equipped our plant with Hearse and Waggon Show Rooms ..." etc. The factory had burned down in the Great Toronto Fire of 1904. Last lines suggest the company thought the fire was due to arson.
