211 p. 25 cm. B&w engravings. Red cloth with blank and gold impressing. Front and spine show the Crystal Palace. All edges gilt. Spine ends repaired; some of the original gilt trim at ends is gone. Small tears in hinges. Top corners bumped. Bookplate on front pastedown for Richard Daniel Crampton. Repaired top corner to front free endpaper. Dampstain on lower corner of rear pastedown. Rear hinge cracking internally. Some discolouration to top margins. Occasional foxing.
