    2 b&w photos, 20 x 25 cm. Chips to both photos. Both have explanatory descriptions pasted to rear. One dated January 12, 1929 indicates the famous exploring vessel, Peary, is being reconditioned at Chelsea, Massachusetts. Formerly owned by Commander Donald MacMillan, the ship will be used to take its new owner, M. F. Bramley of Cleveland, Ohio, millionaire paving contractor, to a fishing paradise in the Pacific. Bramley intended to build a breakwater around a sunken "Paradise Island" he discovered and convert it into a fishing area. Second photo dated Febuary 13, 1929 states the reconditioning operation is complete. States "Boston Bureau" but does not which newspaper.
