Gallery celebrated 40 years of history by presenting an exhibition of outstanding paintings by Canadian artists, including Tom Thomson, Cornelius Krieghoff, Paul Peel, A. Y. Jackson, J. E. H. MacDonald, David Milne, Lawren Harris, A. J. Casson, Franklin Carmichael, Emily Carr, Jack Chambers, and others.
