Stanford White (1853-1906) was a partner in the American architectural firm of McKim, Mead & White, one of the most significant of Beaux-Arts firms. This is an elaborate tribute to White, with reproductions of his sketches and designs and photographs of completed work. Lawrence Grant White (1887-1956) became a partner in the same firm as his father.
