The proposed location for the new arts centre was just to the north of London's Old Courthouse and the Courthouse itself was meant to be part of the complex. The booklet illustrates the Courthouse site as it was in Victorian times, as it was at the time of printing, the availability of surrounding land and buildings, the site "as it could be," and projected costs. The project was never carried out.
