A legendary collection of rare jade pieces, at the time of publication in South Africa, but since dispersed. Baron Claus-Detlof von Oertzen (1894 1991) was involved in the motor industry for most of his long life but he and his wife Irene found time to devote to Asian antiques. These jade pieces range from as ancient as the Neolithic times to the early 20th century.
