Daisy Makeig-Jones created the most unusual products made by Wedgwood Pottery in Staffordshire. Her decorative designs featured colourful dragons, butterflies, fish, hummingbirds, and startling "Fairyland" designs. Unfortunately, Daisy was sacked in 1932, but, whether she was difficult, public taste had changed, or the Wedgwoods disliked her work is difficult to state.
