Photos Michael Peto took of The Beatles in 1965. Three numbered prints in red envelope feature John Lennon with British comic Peter Cook, filming a short sketch called The Pipesucker Report for the TV series Not Only But Also. While the Fab Four were filming their second feature film, Help!, Michael Peto was working for The Observer Sunday newspaper, then one of the UK's most prestigious publications for photojournalists. His position ensured access to The Beatles over the course of a year. Nearly 300 photos of The Beatles that have never been published before. When he died in 1970, he left the University of Dundee a collection of 130,000 prints and negatives, including these photos of Paul, John, George and Ringo.
