Modernist poetry by five great Canadian poets: Louis Dudek; Ronald Hambleton; P. K. Page; Raymond Souster; James Wreford. The editor, Hambleton, may be the least well-known of these poets today. Better known as a journalist, Hambleton has written for Macleans and Saturday Night, and in 1972 created a weekly column which ran for five years in Marketing Magazine. This was the first appearance in book form for all five poets.
