    vii, 334 p. 22 cm. Full leather binding is worn and bumped. Spine head is torn. Front pastedown is stamped "Oxford Historical Society, Woodstock, Ont." and "Oxford Museum." Ink inscription below: "Presented to the Oxford Historical Society by Miss Bertha Murray, 42 Riddell St., Woodstock Ontario March 1937" as well as pencil marks. Nicholson discusses agricultural subjects in alphabetical order from "Air" to "Yellows", including such topics as "Caterpillars", "Dunghills", "Killing of Beasts" and "Weeds" along the way. A long section on winemaking (303-309) includes discussions of currant, gooseberry, raisin and Pomona wine. His book also includes an introduction, conclusion, appendix, index and subscriber lists.
