This book collects samples, mostly full colour but with some black and white, from the career of Yugoslavian comic artist Enki Bilal up to its initial publication in 1982. Enki Bilal became internationally renowned through Heavy Metal magazine, and also has been involved with several movies such as "The Keep" and "The Name of the Rose". Bilal's dystopian science fiction imagery is often accented with mythological elements. Frontispiece appears to be a stylized self-portrait.
