Dustjacket bumped at bottom of spine and corners, chipped on spine, stained on back. Front free endpaper signed by mayors of Oslo, Trondheim, Bergen and one other city and inscribed "To The Mayor of Durham With our Compliments and warmest Thanks 4th of November 1949."
