    213 p. 19 cm. Treatise IV of "The Bridgewater Treatises On the Power, Wisdom, and Goodness of God as Manifested in the Creation". Small stain on foredge, spine edges worn, corners bumped, tape on tear on ft. endpaper, stain in interior margin of prelims, minor spotting throughout. According to G&M item 402 (A system of dissections) "the anatomical work of Charles Bell and his brother John was the most imp't in the British Isles during the early part of the 19th c.). "Bell's palsy" was named after him, as well as several other medical terms. G&M 5583 states "Famous as anatomist, physiologist, and neurologist, Charles Bell was also, like his brother John, an eminent surgeon. His artistic talent was even greater than that of his brother.
