Alexander Louis Theroux (b1939) is a US poet and novelist. His short works appear have appeared in the American periodical press from the the commercial (Esquire) to the academic (Review of Contemporary Fiction). Three Wogs was his first novel and features a dustjacket that suggests a metafictional play with the material text with the title on the back and the first page of text reprinted on the front.
