Kelmscott Revisited

JOHNSON, Ruth & Foster

Regular price $100.00 Sale

This collectable book recounts the authors' return to Hammersmith, the location of Morris's Kelmscott Manor and considers his important role in the Revival of Printing and fine press movements of the late-19th century. Printed in the Bookman typeface because of its similar appearance to Morris's own Golden typeface, the book also presents reproductions of the Doves, Golden, Troy, and Ashedene Ptolomy types. A lovely and nostalgic work for bibliofiles interested in the history of typography.
