    vi, 522 p. 26 cm full leather medieval-style binding with attractively finished raised bands extending from spine to front cover and ending in fleur-de-lis. Includes full-colour frontispiece, b&w plate, and many illustrations throughout the text. Top band torn on front. Some scuffing affecting gilt title. Corners worn. Front hinge beginning to crack. Marginalia in pencil and pencil-crayon notes throughout but it does not interfere in reading the test. Cccasional small edge tearsto pages.
