In 1516 Thomas More published this work entitled Utopia in which he describes his ideal perfect world.This first and only edition by the Golden Cockerel Press contains wonderful engraved titles with illustrated initials by Eric Gill, beautifully printed on English handmade paper. At rear is Gill's version of the Utopian alphabet or "Utopiensium alphabetum" because who wouldn't want to write in Utopian?
