List of subscribers, table of contents. Topics included the author's fortune telling, his enemies, and his thoughts on witchcraft, omens, presdestination, the difference between natural and diabolical magic, apparitions, genii, second sight, loadstones, etc. Page 196 onwards consists of letters written to Campbel by "his consulterers" (the deaf and dumb were believed to be able to predict the future), including ones from a Jew in Constantinople, a politician, an old lady married to a young man, etc.
