  10 cm b&w photo on 16 cm card. In unusual mailing sleeve manufactured for J. G. Ramsey & Co. by Dominon Paper Box Co., Toronto. Sleeve advertises Brophey's business at corner of hamilton Street and Square in Goderich. Light wear to sleeve. Small stain on lower part of photo card. Rear pencil inscription identifies sitter as George Barnett, father of J.D.B. (John Davis Barnett, early Canadian curator librarian). Photographer flourished 1896-1904.
