DOUGLAS, Lord Alfred

Regular price $75.00 Sale

Lord Alfred Douglas, also known as "Bosie" is best remembered as Oscar Wilde's lover. This collection of sonnets was written while serving a six-month sentence for committing libel against Winston Churchill. While a prolific poet in his own right, Douglas is better remembered for his association with Wilde and the British Aesthetes and Decadents of the 1890s.
