Edgar Herbert Hugill (1859-1955) operated the E.H. Hugill photography studio, Ingersoll between about 1880 and 1896. He started by assisted his father in his photography business, the J. Hugill studio, Ingersoll, performing general studio tasks and laboratory work, and eventually learning studio portraiture. Around 1880, Edgar purchased the studio from his father and changed the name of the business to the E.H. Hugill studio. See David L.
