On Jungle Trails is a compilation of Frank Bucks stories describing how he captures wild animals such as elephants, leopards, tigers, reptiles, and the world's smallest deer. Buck's writes of his jungle camp and his methods for feeding and caring for his creatures. The author was not a trophy hunter, insisting on his kindness to animals. The collaborator, Ferrin Fraser, was a radio scriptwriter and short story author who worked with Buck on radio scripts and five books.
