The next 4 vols. published a La Haye, Chez Neaulme & Compagnie 1754-1757, title continuing: "Depuis La Nassance du Messie, Jusqu'à la Fin de la Synagogue, Tirée Des Deuls Livres Saints, ou Le Texte Sacré des Livres du Nouveau Testament, Réduit en un Corps d'Histoire" 1754-55. Final 2 vols. titled: "Trosiéme Partie; ou Paraphrase Litterale des Épitres des Apôtres, D'Après le Commentaire Latin du P. Hardouin, de la Compagnie de Jesus, imprimé à Amsterdam, à la Suite de son Commentaire sur Les Evangiles & les Actes, chez H. du Sauzet, en 1741" printed by Jean-Baptiste Manfre, Padoue, 1757. Works by the Jesuit L'Abbe Joseph Isaac Berruyer (1681-1758) of which the first part is in first edition. A few engraved decorations. Full leather with raised bands, marbled endpapers, black and red title pages. From our As Is section. Marbled text block edges fading. Corners and edges worn, spine ends and a couple of title labels slightly chipped. Ex library with reference labels on front pastedowns and ink notations on labels which sometimes mark page opposite. Small chips and tears, mild foxing, and stains. Chip in bottom corner of vol. I p. 55 with slight loss of text. Vol. I also has small hole in a front endpaper, a missing front endpaper, and an ink scribble on title. Large tear in vol. 2 p. 295, ink marks on front endpaper vol. 3, front free front free endpaper chipped in vol. 6, dampstains to first leaves in vol. 9, dark stain on vol. II p. 151 margin affecting surrounding pages, large chip from a front endpaper in vol. 12.
