This broadside advocates Canada joining the U.S.A. to create a "Continental Union" - "there is but one way of getting free trade with the neighboring republic, namely, by becoming States of the Union." Reverse consists of a poem by Fidelis called "Our Life Blood Ebbs Away: A Plea For Continental Union."
