York Wilson (1907-1984) was a Canadian artist based in Toronto whose career shifted from Commerical to Fine Art in th 1930s. He lived a nomadic life, travellng the world and is best known for his mural art. A Modernist in style, his work fits in with that of Picasso and Wyndam Lewis with a style all his own.
