Hymns, glees, four part harmony, solos - all compiled into one handy collection by Theodoere Perkins (1831-1912). One of 10 children born to a Baptist preacher in Poughkeepsie, NY, young Theodore played the cello in church, standing on a stool. In later life he gave voice lessons at various schools in the U.S. and Canada, including a stint teaching "voice culture" at Princeton.
