No date on second item. 2 volumes in one. Vol. 1: x, 236; Vol. 2: Various paginations. 16.5 cm. Engraved frontispiece beginning of second volume. Half leather with marbled paper boards, endpapers and text block edges. Attractive spine has raised bands, gold impressing. Boards are rubbed with paper chipped, corners are bumped. Front endpaper signed "John Young Normanby 1876" with second ink notation below. Second title page is slightly stained as are rear endpapers.
