An early work on Bohemian (Czech) history by a Czech priest and historian who died 1553. The author begins with the arrival of the Czechs (or Slavs) in Bohemia and ends in 1526. Though the Czech text is extensive and lively, the content is less than reliable, the writer apparently making up a few dates out of his head. It did, however, serve as a major source for later historians.
