Henry the Leper: Der Arme Heinrich (A Suabian Miracle-Rhyme)

ROSSETTI, Gabriel (Charles Dante) (ed.)

The first volume reproduces Rossetti's handwritten work, while the second is typeset in a gothic font and with several illustrations. Rossetti had his name printed with Dante first in honor of Dante Aligheri. Surrounded by writers and artists, Rossetti founded the Pre-Raphaelite movement, and he engaged in both painting and translating Italian works into English. Alas, this lover of Wombats found himself again and again the centre of controversy and it, along with addiction to chloral, eventually damaged his career beyond repair. Introduction by William P. Trent.
