Samuel Newman was a clergyman in colonial Massachusetts whose concordance of the Bible, first published in London in 1643, surpassed any previous work of its kind. This 1662 edition is the first to have this title. The concordance was reprinted at least as late as 1889, almost 250 years after its first publication.
