The Mint: A day-book of the R.A.F. Depot between August and December 1922 with later notes by 352087 A/c Ross
LAWRENCE, T. E.
The Mint describes T. E. Lawrence's time in the Royal Air Force, working as an ordinary Aircraftman under an assumed name, 352087 Ross. The book is notable for its sharp observation about barracks life and for the insight it gives into Lawrence himself. When published in 1955, there were two editions, the expurgated edition and this limited edition containing the full uncensored text, including such terms as "shit-cart."
