In addition to being a collector, Frederick Nettlefold (1833-1913) was one of Victorian England's "Captains of Industry" and he ran his father's brass fixing company when the latter took up a political career. Nettleford was also a leader in the Unitarian Church and served as the lay President for its international organization.
